Six days, five nights, five performances with one parade through the streets of Oslo, summed up our schedule. Featured on Norway's national television and internet news broadcast, NGA was the most hit topic with 1.7 million hits on the first day!
"Without a doubt, you guys are the crowd favorite - next to the [Norwegian] King's Guard, of course" was the comment of every event organizer and staff member. As a result of their performances, New Guard America has been invited to events in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Estonia, through the year 2011.

...a remarkable finish considering he broke his nose during his warm up 7 minutes before he was to perform, and while we were able to stop the bleeding only moments before he was to report in, he still performed his routine brilliantly. However, on his closing sequence, the swelling and the overhead arena lights got the best of him; Corey dropped the weapon attempting a Triple Ninja.
His performance that day demonstrated remarkable character, courage, and professionalism. Corey proved that he will be a tremendous asset for NGA; we all look forward to his progress.
Corey currently holds the position of Rifleman.

Evan Bezeredi from Fredericksburg, VA, named NGA 2008 JAOA
Evan, pictured above with Abraham Robbins (1998 AOA), Corey Hartog (2007 AOA), and Joshua Fischer (2005 AOA) is a remarkable young man with a true can-do spirit and no-excuses attitude; a very gifted driller who's dream is to some day perform with NGA.
Evan was born with Cystic Fibrosis, an incurable hereditary disease that affects the exocrine (mucus) glands of the lungs, liver, pancreas, and intestines, causing progressive disability due to multi-system failure leading to death. Most individuals with cystic fibrosis die young; usually in their 20s and 30s from lung failure, but with new medical treatments, life expectancy can reach as high as 50.
Evan's love for life is captivated in his drill. We at NGA are honored and privileged to have Evan share a part of his life with us.
