What's New in the world of New Guard America

3 OVER 3!

Triple success at the Marine Reserve Center in Washington, DC for breaking one, and setting two new, Guinness World Records!

From left to right: Abraham Robbins (NGA), Patrick Reed (Navy DT), Valentino Cuba (Navy DT), Constantine Wilson (NGA)

The event began shortly after 1500 hrs, starting with the "Most Team Shoulder Exchanges in One Minute". The first attempt failed because of two weapons thrown a little long that caused Constantine Wilson and Abraham Robbins to take a
disqualifying side step. The second attempt however, was nailed tight and the quartet rewrote the record book by besting the previous record by 7 with a flawless run bringing the new total to 32.

After a 10 minute break, the second record was attempted: "Most Team Synchronized Two Hand Spins in One Minute". The new record was set on the first try with a count of 83 cycles. With this record, each spin of the four weapons had to be within 90 degrees of each other throughout the attempt.

After another 10 minute break, the third and final record was attempted: "Most Team In-line Exchanges, Interwoven, in One Minute". A flawless run on the first try setting the mark for the new record at 26.
