The 2006 Pro America is in full swing!

Prelim discussions with Potomac Mills, NGA, and the Joint Service DT's is placing the date of the Pro America in the late March, early April time frame. Potomac Mills has graciously agreed to host the event again this year; exactly where in the Mall is TBD. Without question though, this years event is shaping up to be a biggie. Stay tuned...

A word about the NGA Seminars...

Many have contacted me to express disappointment that NGA no longer offers the DT Seminars. I can assure everyone that much deliberation went into the decision with great sacrifice being proffered by my Twin Brother in Drill, Clarence. Be that it may, the final decision was mine, and it was based on the workload, projected at the time of the decision, of the new NGA project (not the Pro America) involving the Joint Service Ceremonial Honor Guards; it is indeed turning into the colossal behemoth I anticipated it to be. I humbly thank everyone for their understanding.

More on this colossal project will be revealed in the coming months. Stay tuned...

Commentary

Well 2006 is looking like it is going to be a humdinger; one that I await with great anticipation! The Pro America looks to be another huge success, the NGA Joint Service project will be complete, and Josh Fischer will augmenting our team in the summer; Iraq is making wonderful progress toward democracy in spite of the indefatigable efforts by the American media to portray it as a catastrophic failure, my beloved Washington Redskins beat the Bucs and is advancing to the Divisional round of the Playoffs, NASA this month will be launching the New Horizons space probe bound for Pluto for the first ever up close and personal hi-res view of our ninth planet, and Nokia will be debuting their N92 cell phone this fall that will be capable of broadcast quality video and able to receive up to 50 TV channels and GPS; that's cool.

I could go on and on about the great stuff that is happening across our great country, but there is only so much room on this page. Bottom line: As I see it, our economy is strong, the future looks bright, and opportunities abound; it's going to be another great year to be an American!
